Marathon Mission

Happy Friday!

I wanted to share a personal blog today which means so much to me.....

Last weekend, 3 years ago I ran my first ever marathon in London (this picture is of me in the pub afterwards!).

3 years later I think it's time I set myself another challenge.

This one is extremely personal for me as I am running the London Marathon in memory of our friend Alex who we lost very suddenly last year aged just 40. I also want to do this for his incredible wife who is my dear friend and their three wonderful sons - I love them all dearly.

I have been really fortunate to get a place in the charity of the year's team for the London Marathon so I am running for the British Heart foundation who provide incredible support to individuals and families.

I would really appreciate it if you can click on the link above, read ‘my story’ and see why this charity is so important.

Any donation of any amount would be so gratefully received or if you can share this page I'd also really appreciate it. I have a hefty fund raising target as well as 5 months of training ahead of me. I am also not as fit as I was 3 years ago!

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this today.

Have a lovely weekend ahead.
