Create Clarity

Happy Friday!
As part of the Arch inspire’s 5C’s coaching programme, I support clients achieve clarity on their plans, goals and ambitions.
I wanted to dispel a few myths and share a few pointers on Clarity to help you move forward…
Clarity isn’t about having everything figured out at once ➡️ it’s about getting clearer on the first step and then the second…
Clarity rarely comes before action ➡️ clarity comes from action (experimenting, testing, implementing and learning from the steps you take)
Clarity isn't about over simplification ➡️ it's about explaining things clearly
Clarity is not perfection ➡️ initial ideas and opportunities can still feel a little grey and initial steps may not work out - this is how you learn!
Clarity isn’t consensus ➡️ it can create disagreement and conflict before alignment
3 tips to help you find clarity
1️⃣ Empty your 'mental inbox'
Get everything out of your head and onto something external (paper, notes app, voice note, mind-map). Tasks, worries, fears, half-ideas, emotions, opportunities. Clarity doesn't occur while your brain is looking and feeling like a cluttered desk. I encourage and support my clients to do this and it works!
2️⃣ Name what actually matters right now for you
Ask yourself - “If I could only make one thing clearer today, what would it be and WHY?”
Clarity loves priorities! It's also powerful to ask yourself this question out loud.
3️⃣ Create one small action
Take one small step and commit to making it happen — taking action sharpens your thoughts and builds momentum and motivation - set yourself a time-scale to complete this small step to drive accountability.
If you want to find out more about how I help clients achieve clarity of purpose through coaching and consulting programmes, I'd love to have a discussion with you.
Have a great weekend ahead.
