Happy Monday!
I am simply speechless at how much we have now raised - over £5400 and the donations are still coming in, this is more than double the target I had for Samaritans. Yesterday was such a wonderful day full of emotion, happiness, intense pain and heat!
My third London marathon was 26.2 miles of two halves. The first half was great despite the heat, the second half was extremely tough, my on-going knee issue kicked in at 13.4 and totally gave out for the middle part. I still have no idea how I ran/jogged/walked the last half but I did and came in with a final time of 5hrs 36 - given the heat and pain I am really happy with this.
I cannot thank all my friends and family enough for coming up to support me on the day and all those who watched for hours at home. We even made the BBC coverage!
There are just too many people to thank here but I want to thank each and every one of you for your messages of love and support, your donations - over 210 donations which is just amazing. It was my honour to run for Clare Marie Wicker 🌈. The wonderful Samaritans team yesterday were so grateful.
Have a wonderful day and week ahead and thank you so much.

I need a few days to rest and recover now but I am feeling proud, happy and so grateful today. It's incredible what grit, determination, resilience and purpose can help you achieve for yourself and more importantly for others.
