Pride

Happy Friday!

I am dedicating my blog today to my brilliant sister who was sworn in as a Magistrate at the Old Bailey last week. She will specialise as a Family Magistrate.

I am beyond proud of her. She has chosen to pivot her career after 28 years. In addition to this huge achievement she will be starting her final year this September to qualify as a Counsellor.

She is my hero, my role model and also a 'mum' to me in so many respects. She is the person I go to for anything and everything, she's an exceptional listener, has a heart of gold, has so much care and compassion for others and is one of the smartest people I know. She has been so instrumental in encouraging me to also pursue my own goals and ambitions in life - she is one of the people in my life who lifts me higher.

She is going to help so many families and individuals going forward and I am so proud of her for recognising her purpose and pursuing it with such passion. I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for her.

This quote was written for my sister - 'You are never to old to set a new goal or dream a new dream'.

Take a moment today to recognise and thank those around you that make a difference to you and others.

I love you, I am so grateful for you and I am so proud of you Kirsty Chaudhry
