Towards, Over, Away

Happy Friday!


I've mentioned the brilliant organisation Headspace before in my 'Happy Friday' blog. 


Headspace’s mission is to provide every person access to life long mental health support through evidence based meditation, mindfulness tools, mental health coaching, therapy and psychiatry. Through their app they provide mindfulness tools for everyday life. Their app and social medial platforms are well worth a follow if you are on Instagram - I absolutely love their simple, vibrant and impactful visuals. 


This picture is credited to Headspace and it’s really resonated for me this week. I focus on 'towards' and 'away from' language extensively in the work I do with clients providing supportive and healthy challenge to help them to focus on what they do want as opposed to want they don’t. 


Take a few minutes today and read the following list. 


❓Ask yourself 'How often am I in the ‘away from’ (backwards) space as opposed to the 'towards' (forwards) space? – a change in our language patterns and the way we talk to ourselves can make a huge difference to our thoughts, feelings, emotions and confidence. 


Challenge yourself to capture three towards statements or affirmations to encourage you to focus forwards today.
